It was August 2022, and September was fast approaching. Along with my Wife's Birthday.
What would she want to make her life complete?
As usual, my Wife kindly stepped in before I lost sleep over this dilemma.
A bag was her desire, not just any camouflaged rucksack; Oh no, only a Captain Jellyfish bag was her heart's desire.
Now you may ask, who is this Captain Jellyfish?
In a faraway land is the Fabled County of Yorkshire, the province of the White Rose. Wherein lies the curious market town of Skipton. Home to Captain Jellyfish and their alluring Disney (TM) bags.
The front looks just like any average lady's clothing shop, but just like Mr. Benn's shop in the children's TV series, if you make your way to the back, there is a little counter. However, this counter is surrounded by purses, handbags, and petite rucksacks.
My Wife was in her element I was sure she would be looking for the Nightmare Before Christmas (TM) rucksack to match the purse and handbag she already adored.
As usual, I was so wrong.
Oh no, my Wife chose the Hocus Pocus (TM) rucksack.
Now you may be forgiven for thinking, it's just a bag, but my experience is that many ladies have commented on my Wife's purse and handbag and have oft asked where they were purchased.
Thankfully, after acquiring the bag of her dreams, we perused the remainder of the Market Square and surrounding shops, stopping off for a little refreshment in a local Public House and Real Ale emporium.
It was that or a trip to Skipton Castle, but I'd had enough excitement for one day, it was time for a little siesta.

As you can see Skipton is home to a few exclusive shops.
With a few side streets leading to Coffee Shops and Restaurants.
Skipton also has its share of grand buildings.
We ended the trip with a romantic luncheon at Bizzie Lizzie's Fish and Chip restaurant, overlooking the picturesque canal.
Now if you're looking for a birthday present for your loved one and she has a fetish for Disney-themed purses and bags, this post could be right up your street.

I'm no Disney fan, but it I think the Hocus Pocus us a great choice!
My Wife is definitely a Disney fan and is very happy with the bag. As usual she has had quite a few comments, usually from people wanting to know where it came from.

We have been to the store twice now and made a purchase each time.
I didn't realize it was online, so just asked my Wife if she knew, unsurprisingly she did lol.
Online shopping is a life saver for me, as I struggle to get to some places!
