@steevc thanks a lot for stopping by and giving some insight and yes, there are different approaches to steem. Those who are in it for the money could still get a return by delegating to manual curation guilds and that would benefit the ethos and community feel without them having to do too much at all.

Self-voting was something I forgot to mention but I haven't self voted for as long as I can remember, maybe the beginning of the year (I was still very much a minnow then). The way I see it, it's not up to the author to give themselves a vote if we want this to be a truly community based platform using the Proof of Brain concept.

But I'm sure we all appreciate the effort you guys put in at steemflagrewards to stop spam and plagiarising occurring so thank you and definitely agree with wanting steem to be used well to keep the honest users here as well as drive new users in here 😀
