Before I find steemit, my best social media app was facebook for all of the following reasons.

1. It is very easy to use... I opened my first facebook account when I knew nothing about internet. Facebook was the one that created the passion to develop myself on internet in me. I don't need anybody's service to do this successfully, I learnt it on my own with facebook.

2. It's a place where I made friends and hooked up with friends... I lost connection with some of my secondary school friends over 10 years ago after graduating from school. But, with facebook I've been able to connect with some of them. I've made some amazing new friends on facebook as well

3. I browse through facebook for inspiration..... Though, what you see on facebook might not be one hundred percent true. But, each time I check, I see pictures I see posts that are enough to motivate me to keep going, I think that's all I need.

4. It helped me to keep some of my important pictures.... Each time I take pictures that are precious to me, I posted them on facebook so as to keep them forever. The other time I celebrated my birthday, I visited my facebook account to retrieve some of this pictures... It was great having those pictures intact

5. My writing skills was tested..... I was operating two pages on facebook where I write consistently. In fact, I used the name of one of the page to open my first steemit account @emmakwisequote, though, I've lost key into that account now..

If I do all that on facebook and enjoyed it without any monetary reward, no wonder I am well motivated to give steemit my all. Smile
