Your received votes turn into rewards eventually... i guess the terminology is a bit confusing there, I notice how that's a bit cumbersome to describe every time I try to spell it out :P

Yeap, that's right! The dust threshold applies to the combined rewards of all votes on a single item of content (post or comment).
P.S.: the bunny has received your 15 SP delegation and your priority has been raised accordingly, your dust is now treated with a 45min bonus.

lol, yeah... and the bunny makes sure the kittens don't shed too much dust... actually that's how I initially got the idea for @dustbunny, because the kittens are hella dusty ;)
the 45min bonus is applied to your dust, you'll get a little bit of preferential treatment when there's a lot of dust that needs to be fluffed up... at the same time... I tried to describing how that works in detail in the OP above, but I'm afraid it's maybe even more confusing than the votes/rewards thing...

...if there are many items on the bunny's watchlist that are within 36-12 hrs before payout, the one with least time until payout will be fluffed up first. That's where your bonus of 45 minutes comes into play...
Most of the time this actually won't matter much, but during peak times or whenever the bunny would run into a VP shortage this would play out in your favour.
