classic! I've seen others do this as well. believe it or not, it's one of the best ways to "get them back", as it kills their conning ROI while trying to find gullible people to scam off. For them, it's like making 100 STEEMIT posts in a row with < 5 cent payouts.
In fact, that's why these scammers try to be so "obvious". It helps them more quickly hone in on the most gullible bunch of people they can find.

It's mostly the elderly honestly, or even the type of people who find good in everyone and think nothing like this would happen to them. I've seen it with a family member before..
Always waste as much of a scammers time as you can, to keep them from spending time trying to scam someone who may actually fall for this kind of bullshit. It saddens me that shit has made it's way into our wonderful community...
This was oh so satisfying. My favorite scammers to mess with are the ones that are calling from microsoft and want to help you fix the problem on your PC. There are just too many good ways to take the conversation. Really though...screw these guys so hard! Also following because of this.
They seem to come in once every couple months...the best is you can wait minutes between saying anything because you are "trying to figure out how to plug your computer back in" since you obviously always unplug it so it doesn't run out of internet
