I usually get what I want or get something better than I initially wanted. I don’t take NO for an answer. May be I’m an Immigrant, may be I’m a hustler, May be I just know what I’m looking for and most importantly I know why want something.
This morning I posted my first Dlive video then I randomly went for a walk. Then something came to mind that I need to level up my Steem GAME. I don’t play video games and I’m not good at either. Actually I don’t enjoy playing online game. Also I hated online dating. Let me talk about how I found my life partner in another post. My point is I love to play real game in real life. I want to have a goal or a target to go for.
So with steem also I want to have goals. Yes I play long long game, I mean the games I play last 3 or 4 years minimum. But I need to enjoy the process and that’s why I set very very short term goals. For me it’s not achieving the goal matter but I want to try my best to achieve it.
Today, I went with my friend and fellow Steemian “Pepe” to record my 3 Dtube videos and promoting Dtube around London. When I promote DTube and Steem DApps I get to asked so many questions. Actually I’ve been promoting steemit for every single person that I meet. Unfortunately I can’t share video footage for it. May be if I can wear some sort of google glass or something then I’ll be to share my video images of how I promote Steemit.
So basically today I was telling some guests that stay in my hostel about DTube and what I do, then this guy’s first question was can I follow you ? and the next question was how many followers do you have?. He talked about me and try to give me something, I mean add value. So it’s the same thing I did when heard about DTube and first I want to add value to Dtube.
Mostly people ask me how much money can you make and where is the money coming from and all sort of questions about them. And also ask me are you getting paid to promote DTube. Anyways one thing I start to notice is that young people are asking interesting questions. Believe it not social media is millennials currency. Trust me on this! I travel the world around and every where I go the young people are literally living in their smartphones and literally spending their entire time on Social media. I just can’t imagine the potential of the Steem DApps..
Anyway I’m loosing my focus here. I usually don’t edit my video or writing.
So what I want ?????
I want 10k followers by end of this month. Yes I wanted it badly.

I never like to play internet game too. But I prefer to pinball game. Best enough to keep long term goals. Only keep short term once. But success wanna our long term one. We cannot be success very soon. So your plan so powerful strength.
Many would say that its too big a target. To that my reply is - 'you do not know how to look for what you want'. Whatever the people might say, I think that if a man can truly set his mind to something, then it's achievable. 24 days to go and each of them brings you closer to that target :-)
But there is one thing that I have learned here on Steem Blockchain. The fact that number of followers are just that - 'a number'. The real followers are few and far between. The ones that actually give time to a post are only a few brave men and women.
Then there is also the fact that if your mining grounds are big, then you'll have more stones to deal with but that would also mean that you'll be able to find more diamonds. So with this in mind, I think having more 'followers' could result in more 'real followers'.
Let me tell you how I got 4800 followers, you can also so it. When I write a post I share it in facebook, twitter, reddit and even linkedin. I also share it in steem.chat and all discord channels I am in. I also share the link of the post in google plus. You can also record one video on youtube, I mean the video you already have for dtube, upload it on youtube to make people understand that dtube is something interesting. Youtube has a huge traffic and we can use it to promote dtube. Also if people are asking where the money come from, you can tell them that we have a lot of investors investing in steem and they use their power to upvote people to earn from that as well, because not only creators are earning, but curators also. Yes, It is better to know ourself cuz it always help us to find the right way. Some people are always different they like only online and it is also noteabl that between real and online huge different. We know you always enjoy the real life game that is the point of success.

Everyone gets rushed to the person who is good, so you will come running towards you. I have said that you will become 10k followers within this month.
@nathanmars you and I have about the same number of followers and joined Steemit at the same time. My goal is to double my SP by the end of the year. Setting goals gives us something to strive for instead of just walking in place. I have every confidence we will both meet our goals.

There are few reasons why I want to have 10k followers by end of this month.
Also seting deadline put pressure on my and setting quantitative target makes me measure my goals.
Also I might have other reasons as well but these are the reasons come to mind now. Note it’s morning in London and I’m not a morning person. May be I should have response to you in the evening.
