Has the new nurse ever gotten started with Abbi? My family will all be here on the Saturday before New Year's and stay for 4 days then. So I have an entire week to prepare for Christmas yet. I just started wrapping gifts today and actually I still have a few more that I need to order. I do want to do a little baking but that can wait until next week!

No nurse yet the service is always teasing us about sending a nurse. I get less hope on that every day. Sad to say.
My boys are coming over the 29th for a gathering. We will eat together and that will be fun. That will be the gift this year. Everyone brings a dish and we visit while enjoying the meal.
This week I had my 4 year old grandson. Today his sister joined him here so mom and dad could have an adult night out. They both go home Saturday. Watching a movie right now with them.

That sounds like a fun way to celebrate with your guys! And a movie with the kids tonight sounds like fun too. Did you watch a Christmas movie? Are they getting excited about Santa? 4 is a fun age for that sort of stuff.
If you stamp your feet and raise your voice will they pay more attention to you about sending a nurse?
We will see how the celebrating goes. Have not done this in many years.

Yes we watched Christmas Chronicles and I found it to be a very good movie. The kids liked it too.
I do not think nursing is happening no matter what I do. Thank you for the suggestion.

I do understand the family thing! My oldest son has not communicated with the family for over17 years. I do feel sorry for him, but at this point, I no longer have a clue as to what else to try.
Keep trying for the nurse. You deserve the additional help.
