Sophia lived in one of the poorest and most dangerous neighborhoods of the city of Caracas, in Venezuela, called on January 23. The water came only once a week, and all the neighbors came down from the hill, and lined up early to fill a water slide.
Jose was a boy who belonged to a program called Children's Symphony Orchestras, in which, children from the poorest neighborhoods of the city, they were lent a musical instrument according to their talent, they were taught to play it and learn music.
Joseph just like Sophia got up early to collect water to take home, and one day he took the flute he played to practice, while waiting his turn in the queue, the Sophie to hear him play was amazed by the instrument and Joseph to see his enthusiasm He said: "You can also learn to play."

SOPHIA'S FLUTE
I would always call out to her in the mornings. She was always there, smiling. I always wondered if she never got tired. I held her hands to go to school as usual because no one wanted to hold the" imbecile". And this "imbecile " was my best friend. We lived in a world which did not know much and we were used to the cursing and the violence. She showed me the thing. She had been keeping it for a long long time. It very was beautiful . I asked her to use it immediately, I was so excited and inquisitive, she declined, I had to wait till evening.
We went to school and I was impatient all day. Time was slowly ticking by. The school bell rang signifying the end of school activities. This was it! Sophia had a hard time coming down the stairs, they began to make fun of her again. I ran there and began to do the usual fighting and shouting, you should know better than to mess with my "imbecile " friend. And it dropped. They took it from the ground and began to throw it at one another. We chased and chased them. Then Sophia fell deep, deep into the hole. The one they wanted to use for the school well. I could hear her screaming for help. I ran as fast as my legs could carry me. When I got there with help, my friend was gone. My "imbecile " friend was not an imbecile. She had Down syndrome and they never understood. And the "thing" was her new flute. My Sophia would never play her new flute again. I cried all the way home. I realized then that the world was cruel and I lived in it.

Sophia, a teenage girl has always felt different from other children in her village as nobody wanted to be her friend due to her poor learning abilities. Her mother has always felt disappointed with her by her poor performance rates.
One day, she was fetching water for her mom, when she broke the pot and this made her mother to beat her up. She cried and sadly ran into the bush. While she was there she saw a flute, she picked it up and tried on it. She found herself able to play the flute and this comforted her again.
On returning home, she took along with her the flute. On the evening of that day, she was playing the flute when a blind man walking pass heard the sound, as he listened careful, he soon realised he could see. He testified about the mystical flute and soon the news spread through the village.

This really wonderful
Sophia has been traveling the world with her flute at an early age, demonstrating that talent is built with effort and dedication. She is a single young woman with an inability to conceive due to an abnormality in her reproductive system but with a big family that makes her very happy.
She came to Germany for the flute festival and offered a concert to a public that was delighted by the beautiful melody that this young woman creates, and after the concert, she was recognized as one of the best artists of the year and was selected to give workshops on the musical instrument she plays, which she has made her lifestyle and in which large numbers of young people have participated.
Now her life revolves around her flute and that she has not been able to conceive, she lives surrounded by people who fill a little that emptiness inside her. That is why, of Sophia present and future of the flute will remain for years one of the most recognizable faces in the world.
She stood on a very high mountain, about to jump down, She feels she as been massacred. Hot tears rolled down her cheek, "Whats the essence of living when everyone now sees me as a thief "
So She concluded, but in the process, An hunter shouted running towards her "No....................", although she heard the man but she jumped anyway.
"Sophia! Sophia!! wake up Sofia"
The maid just brought her a stale Bread 🍞, She just realised it was only a dream.
Sofia had been in the prison for days, She stole money in the market place and ran like a chicken being chased, unfortunately she got caught because stealing was a big crime in her little Village.
Her cell door screeched, the Prince is personally checking on every prisoner, He entered Sofia's little cell, and wondered what a beauty like this must have done to deserve this ill treatment, So She explained how She stole the money to buy a Flute in other to partake in the audition. The prince was to pick a wife, among the contestants.
After hearing her sincere story, He bought her a flute, she partook in the audition and she won with pride.

SOPHIA'S FLUTE
The craziest person in town is Sophia, you don't want to get on her nerves.
Sophia is the strongest among all the girls in her class room and she sometimes make trouble with stronger guys, guys you'll never dare to challenge.
She broke her friends arm because She called her flute useless.
Sophia got expelled, but instead of her to calm, the rage kept growing in her.
Her mother pampers her a lot because she's the only child, immediately after she got expelled, her mom enrolled her in a better school.
Although Sophia promised herself and her mom never to make trouble in her new school but can she fulfill that? Lets wait and see....
Sophie is popularly known in her new school as the Flute girl, because she spends most time with her expensive flute rather than being with friends, she believe making friends means making trouble.
Now Sophia sat alone in the corner of the class, blowing her pink coloured flute when a guy mistakenly kicked her, the flute fell off and another guy mistakenly step on it and so did another, she was unable to pick it on time, until it shattered, who will Sophia blame/fight?.
Interesante.
With a flute on her mouth, Sophia sits down in a corner of a busy motor park singing a variety of songs. One of the songs which cut my attention was:
Not only the uncommon skills that seem to be imprinted on her trained fingers but also the infectious beam of smiles that radiated from the her perspiring face. The performance of the art seem to have naturally followed Sophia from the mother's womb. The sound of the flute exactly rhymes with the nodding of the excited head and the movement of the hip and the legs. Every passerby who crossed the spot could hardly hold the body from spontaneously shaking and responding to the sweet melodies from Sophia's flute. It was a display of competence and unrivaled endowment. Learning to play the flute overtook every hobby in the community and became the passion of indigenes of Eziama Uli, Anambra State, Nigeria from where Sophia received a celebrated nationality. School children could be seen carrying and practicing with flutes.
Sofia's Flute
Sofia was a shy girl. She had recently moved to a new city and enrolled in a new school, but because of her careless appearance and large glasses she was teased by her classmates. As a child, music was her passion and her grandfather had given her a flute, which she learned to play. It was her most precious object.
When Sofia played the flute she was transported to a fantastic world where she felt happy and accepted by everyone. One day at her school a recital was going to take place, and she decided to participate, but in the rehearsals some classmates made fun of her and stole her beloved flute. But in that group of children was David, who had also been bullied in the past and seeing Sofia so sad, he remembered what it felt like to be excluded, so he left the flute on the door of her house to Sofia.
The day of the recital Sofia played her flute masterfully and in the first row was David who applauded his new friend, who thanked him with a smile.
Sophia, a girl eager to discover the world, from a very young age, was attracted to music, she used to listen to the song of the birds that perched on the trees every morning.
One afternoon, while walking through the countryside, he heard a soft melody that cheered his senses; following his instinct and looking for where the sound came from, saw a woodcutter sitting under the trees playing the soft notes; Curiously, Sophia approaches and asks: What is that beautiful sound? the woodcutter replies: -is the sound of a flute; The excited girl took the instrument and began to play.
Sophia from that day began to frequent every afternoon the same place to enjoy the beautiful melody sung by the woodcutter man. Time passed and little by little the light of Sophia was disappearing due to a strange illness, her world began to darken day by day until she was totally blind; she, despite her difficulty he did not give in to adversity and with the passage of time achieve your dream , opening the eyes of her heart through music and knowing the world through her ears.

Mucha suerte amiga
Thales built wooden musical instruments. He was a young man whose mind always wandered asking himself questions like, "Who are we? What is nature?"
One day an old man came to his workshop, "I want you to make me an aulos," he said. For the young artisan that was an easy task, he did several every week. Then the old man gave him in a papyrus the specifications of how the aulos should be built, this surprised Thales, the aulos was simple and not double, and it also had only seven holes. The old man also gave him the wood which he had to use to build the unusual instrument. "It's for Sofia's birth," he said before leaving.
Thales made the aulos, and then he began to blow it, the sound that came out made him have revelations in his mind... They were constant epiphanies that gave answers to his questions, he came to love that piece of wood, but he had to deliver it. When his client arrived, Thales told him, "it's ready for your daughter Sofia", then the old man said, "she is not my daughter, she your daughter" and left. And thus philosophy was born.
Sophie was a girl with a great imagination. In her school, she had read the story “The Pied Piper of Hamelin”, in which an extravagant flutist had taken all the mice out of a town at the request of a despotic mayor, who after finishing the flute's work, did not pay him what was agreed. For this reason , the flutist enchanted all the children of the town and he made them march up into a mountain.
The neighbors of Sophie bothered on the weekends nights with very loud music, so one night, she played her recorder and went to the front of the house of the noisy neighbors. She, remembering the story of the flutist, she played it with the highest note, a sound so sharp that all the neighborhood dogs went out to bark and howl. The howls were so loud that all the neighbors stopped in front of the house demanding that they remove the music and they called the police.
That's how Sophie became the flutist of Hammond Street and everyone was able to sleep peacefully on Saturday nights.
SOPHIA'S FLUTE
I felt my heart straining against my ribs as I ran, knowing that if my elder sister Sophia caught me, I was done for.
It had all started as a prank. She has always been protective of her flute. Any of us who went near it got a beating. This only enraged us and fueled our determination to lay our hands on it.
Leaving Tobi the last born to watch out for Sophia, the rest of us snuck into her room and made away with it. We then took turns playing on it.
From nowhere, Sophia showed up and we all took to our heels. Unfortunately for me, the flute was in my possession and it fell and cracked while I ran. I had only one thought in my mind after that,
"Run!"
Not watching where I place my foot, I stumbled and fell to the ground. Before I could get back up, I felt Sophia's grab me.
Just when the beating was about to begin, I woke up.
It was a dream.
But then I realised I was in a hospital bed. Alas I remember breaking Sophia's flute and almost getting murdered for it yesterday.
Hi friends, my entry here!
Sophia is a young orphan who lives with her uncles for many years ago. Her family is of very low economic resources and she leaves early to work to help at home, all the money she makes was taken to her home. She goes out accompanied by her flute, which for her is her greatest treasure, since it was the gift of her parents before they died. Every day she takes his hat, takes her bag, her flute and goes to work. She takes the bus and there he plays his flute so that the passengers throw their coins into the bag.
She has been feeling that her flute does not sound the same as before and that's why her bag does not fill with coins. But one day, riding on the bus, a passenger approaches him and says "Remember that life gives us all a flute. In life we all have to prepare, develop skills, learn and constantly improve to give a good concert. Do not pretend to fill your money bag when you do not deliver a good melody. So, listen girl, the problem with the melody is not the Sophia´s flute the problem is you”.

SOPHIA'S FLUTE
She always cried on her way home after every end of year party... She failed again. She was too scared to see her dad, knowing what he'll say and do to her...
She entered the house, greeted her dad and walked to her room. Her mom entered her room and asked her "why are you crying?" she replied "I failed again".
Her mom was sad, looked at her for a while and asked to stop crying, that she'll do better come next term. Sophia was relieved... She laid on her bed and slept off.
Sophia has this flute she plays always but was seized by her dad because of her poor grades.
The next day Sophia met her dad and asked him for the flute. He was really angry with her and asked her to leave his room. Before leaving she told her dad that playing the flute helps her relax and she concentrates better.
Her dad only wanted the best for her and asked her to promise him that she'll do better the next term, she promised and he handed over the flute to her...
Sophia was very happy and played the flute all day long
Sophie was at it again; playing that darn thing in the middle of the night. I jumped out of my bed as usual, but this time I could not return to sleep. I reached for my torch in the dark. Grudgingly, I walked out of my apartment towards her room. I rammed my fist on the door repeatedly until she opened it. The anger I felt died as I saw her.
She was wearing an oversize old-fashioned night dress. Her hair was a complete mess and her usually perfect makeup was smudged all over her face. She held onto her flute like a lifeline and stared at me helplessly. My feet were planted to the ground and my heart ached for her. She stepped back and let me in.
The flute was her father's. He had taught her when she was little. After she lost him to a fatal accident a year ago, she played the flute every night to remember him. I let her cry on my shoulder as I patted her head. My father had died too, but he had been a monster who had broken most of mama's bones . I did not feel her pain.
Mucha suerte!
Ekemili is Sophia's long standing friend. This friendship took them through the scorching heat of African Savannah and through the swamps, floods and high humidity of the thick rain forest of southern Nigeria. Neither lack and poverty nor occasional sprinkles and drizzles of affluence could sever the unequalled relationship. Onlookers get excited to see Ekemili and Sophia lovingly exchange smiles and pleasantries. They behave like sisters born by the same parents. After a long holiday in London, Ekemili returned to Nigeria and paid his beloved friend an impromptu visit. On arrival, she knocked at the friend's door to enter. "Yes" a gentle voice answered from inside a room, "please come in". The sitting room door was opened noiselessly from inside. On entering the room the first sight shocked Ekemili to the marrow, "What do you carry Sophia? Have you become a soldier?” What Sophia was holding wear the appearance of a gun at a glance. "I am not a soldier and do not handle gun". What you see in my hand is a flute for expressing my talent. This flute has taken me to places and is putting unending income on my palms. "Congratulations", Ekemili complimented with amazing delight.
Some years ago, a very poor woman left her baby girl in an orphanage with a box that said "For Sophia, open it when you turn five, with love your mom".
So it happened, the girl opened the box and took out a flute which had printed the phrase:
A foreign couple wanted to adopt Sophia. The girl fled the orphanage because her greatest wish was to be reunited with her mother.
The only thing she was carrying was her flute, so she began to play discovering that she had a beautiful gift with which she earned money so as not to starve.
Sophia 18 years old, was an expert playing beautiful melodies with her flute. One day a businessman in music was amazed at the young girl's talent.
He invited her to participate in a televised talent contest. "Sophia and her flute" was heard in the program's publicity.
The day of the contest arrived, and at the end of her act Sophia opened her eyes while the people applauded her standing. Only one woman stood crying incessantly. Sophia knew that she had finally found the one she longed to know: "Her mother".
The lines of the rain
She always plays the flute
I listen to her, without fail,
everyday.
Everynight she sat in front of me, with the canvas of the city behind her, on that abandoned building. Her music sounded in a soft and torn melody, like whisper hid the cries of a life of accumulated suffering.
Living in the streets is hard.
We met on a rainy night, just when I was trying to take refuge among the rafters of that old building. She was there and looking at us we understood that words were expendable. I shared a piece of bread and she gave me music. Her name was Sophia and she made a living with that flute. The notes sounded like whisper of wind and the melody of rain. Since that night I became addicted. I needed to listen to her everynight to find meaning in life.
However, one day she disappeared.
They found her dead in an alley. Some bastard had raped her and then murdered her.
[...]
I'm still here, looking for death to hear it again in the whispers of the rain.
Sophia always played the flute.
I listened to her, without fail:
now I must go find her.
Every time I think of it, I feel my heart about to explode inside my chest. I get jitters.
I feel overpowered, and just then I wish I could just cry it away. But even when I do cry, the melodies still remain in my brain like scars. I really wish I had done something to help.
Sophia was the house help that lived with the family next door.
A barren woman's punch bag and an alcoholic's victim of sexual abuse; Sophia had the weight of the world upon her shoulders.
Some afternoons she would sit on the veranda and play magical tunes from her flute. But these songs were not the ones that stuck to my mind. The ones that did, were the tunes she played on those cold quiet nights, around 2am, after her aunty had used a hot pressing iron to press her skin or a razor to cut her.
Sophia's flute told me everything. She played that "nwa enwe nne, nwa enne nna" song, until sadness filled the air.
Today makes it one year she ran away with the flute. she's gone but the tunes still remain.
Me encanto!
SOPHIA'S FLUTE
Sophia was born on June 13, 2010 in a family of very scarce resources, Christian father and mother, honest workers and both with fabulous talents. His father knows how to play the drums and he belongs to the praise and worship group of his church, just like him, Sophia's mother also has great talent but she, in singing.
It was to be expected that the new member of the family would also inherit a great talent, reason for which from their first months of life they tried to involve her in the musical field in her church.
But unfortunately at 8 months of age the parents of sophia realized that she could not see, that she had been born without a sight, but so much was the faith of her parents that her little girl Sophia would also develop a talent to adore God that the 5 years even with their limitation they enrolled in music lessons and to everyone's surprise Sophia developed a unique and special talent with the flute.
2 years later Sophia is the best in her class demonstrating that when we have Faith in ourselves there are no limitations.
SOPHIA'S FLUTE
Sophia was a cripple, the second and last child of her parents. The villagers always made jest of Sophia which made her family ashamed of her.
When other kids are playing all she does is sit under her favorite tree and play sweet melodies from her flute since she wasn't allowed to associate with other children.
All the villagers were well dressed, going with their families to the village town square for their annual thanksgiving. It was an event not to be missed.
Her parents locked her in the house and went for the thanksgiving.
Sophia found the spare key and decided to sneak out of the house to the town square. On getting to the town square, she was sighted by a little boy who shouted "Sophia the cripple is here", the whole villagers turned and began to laugh.
They pointed fingers at her mother and called her names for giving birth to a cripple, with shame and tears in her eyes she beat Sophia mercilessly in front of the whole villagers and sent her home.
Sophia went home crying, she sat at her usual spot and played from her flute
SOPHIA'S FLUTE WAS HER ONLY FRIEND
Woow me encanto!!
There are things that I wish I never knew.
somewhere in the corner of my head, in that place between nightmares and daydreams, there lies some things I just can't forget... Or can't bear to forget
Like Sophia's flute
We’d sit under that mango tree that papa always wanted to cut down and she’d play melodies that made my heart soar. It was always kind of unusual that she played the flute that well as only men were known for the arts in our village, but then again everything about Sophia was a bit unusual.
When mama called me last night to tell me that she had passed on, that the pneumonia finally took her, all I could hear in my head were those tunes she had played in the short struggle that had been her life. Those tunes were all I could hold on to, all that made me feel like she was still here with me.
I sit here now, warm tears gliding down my face, I'm drawn back to a memory from the night before I left the village
"I think I love You" I had told her.
She just smiled, took out her flute and played me a song
I like!
Well, thank you
Interesante mucha suerte!
Sophia´s Flute
Sophia is an american teenager who discovered her vocation when she was just a girl, selected the flute as her musical instrument and since then this has been her best companion. She had the dream of studying music in a prestigious institution at the musical and which many artists have passed through, so, wanted to try her luck one day when found out about a scholarship at the University of London for newspaper ads. With the support of her parents she goes to the audition and is selected among more than one hundred participants as the only girl who played the flute the best.
From that moment her life changed and her flute accompanies her everywhere, the most difficult thing has been to get away from her family. Her passion for the music goes beyond strict class schedules, shares with her friends common activities and always entrusts herself to God. Right now she continues her studies, works as an orchestra conductor and works as a music therapy to help the sick. Today she thanks his family, God and the flute for making her dream come true.
It was a December morning, the cool breeze swirled around sending the trees and leaves dancing to its rhythm. The melody of her flute coloured the already beautiful scene. Sophia, tall, thin and beautiful, sat on a log of wood, deep in the heart of the forest, blowing passionately into her flute.
The birds were silent, they all say on their respective trees, listening to the awe striking euphony. The leaves swayed in the rhythm of the flutes melody. Everything was going smoothly, until the shot was fired, everything stopped abruptly. The hunters ran towards her, carrying her as they headed for the village.
The king was down with a strange ailment, everything they tried for him proved abortive. After trying all they knew, only the magical power of Sophia's flute could heal him.
Sophia was brought before the king and the magic began. The uplifting melody of the flute gradually livened the atmosphere. For a while, it seemed the music had no effect on the king, everyone was beginning to lose hope.
Before they knew what was happening, he stood up and started moving to the melody.
Sophia's flute was indeed magical.
Cool story dear, lemme write mine
@zhyorna, I'm loving your story o
Cool write-up, hope you win @zhyorna
SOPHIA'S FLUTE
I hear it in my dreams, sometimes in the day. Looks like I'm hallucinating. She was my favorite daughter, 5 ft tall, slim and fair to look upon. She had the face of my mum and happened to be my second child. Her name is Sophia.
Growing up, my hubby who played flutes to me during our courting years till date taught her how to use the flute. She had a favourite melody. She always played it everywhere she may be found, especially at night when we engage in our chit chat. One day, as things got tough for our family, I slid to depression, she came by with the golden flute and played me out of misery. She gave me hopes. Tears streak down my chin as I recall.
It's been a year already since she died in a ghastly motor accident, shattering my entire world. Yet, I hear her play beautiful melodies to soothe me in my dreams.
Heading to the supermarket, I see a flute, beautifully carved, with an Amber coloration just like my Sophia's. It reminded me of Sophia's flute.
SOPHIA'S FLUTE
Tears rushed down my eyes quickly, as Wang smashed the flute on the floor, at that point I felt I've lost the love of my life, as the flute was the last gift I had from her..., a strong urge to strangle Wang with my bare hands was rising inside of me, but No, I've failed Sophia, as I couldn't protect her greatest treasure, I've failed myself as I've just lost a gift that symbolizes the love we share together......
Sophia was the first lady of my heart, I fell in love with her after listening to her play her flute at the market, and ever then I've been in love. Just before she left the village she had given me her flute saying "protect this flute, in it lies my heart, it's a symbol of our love, and my greatest treasure", And just today I've lost it... Feeling horrible...
She didn't have anyone to rely on, Sophia being an orphan felt lonely and sad. She didn't have much to feel close to, except for her "special flute". The flute her mum left for her was the only possession she had left of her, she played beautiful sounds with, but when it was threatened to be taken from her, she just had to defend herself, and protect that which is hers, this is the love Sophia has for her flute.
Hello everyone let's welcome to the stage Sophia's father said the director of the art museum amidst a standing ovation. I stood there unable to move, unable to get the thoughts out of my head. If I had been early maybe I would have died in the building collapse that killed my baby Sophia during her performance. Perhaps this was my punishment for always missing her performances. I snap out of my reverie and go up the podium and say " my daughter was a prodigy on the flute and her original masterpiece titled Sophia's flute will forever be a tune that speaks to the soul, Thank you" I step down the stairs but my lack of sleep and food betray me, I fall and pass out. I wake up in my room and I hear someone playing the enchanting piece Sophia's flute. I open my eyes and see Sophia standing there very alive. I grab her, run my hand through her hair and promise her I won't miss her performances ever again. I'm happy because it appears I had been dreaming all along or is this the dream.
SOPHIA'S FLUTE
Her Mum tried her best to make sure Sophia didn't get too distracted from school due to her love for music.
Sophia was a stammerer who rarely spoke to others about anything, because she was scared of being laughed at by those that had little or no patience to wait till she could finish her sentence.
she never had a problem with her inability to communicate and socialize because she had her means of communication. This was her FLUTE.
This was her best friend, Sophia could forget her notes and writing materials at home but then her flute was always the first to get inside her bag everyday as she arranged for school. Most of her classmates in the quest to understand why she loved the flute do much made up many stories about how the flute came about. Sophia never gave heed to their thoughts, she would sit under the shade of the mango tree in school during breaks and free periods and blow her flute passionately.
While blowing her flute one day, the school principal who was passing got interested and decided to sponsor her to specialize on her music career abroad.
SOPHIA'S FLUTE
She buried her face in her pillows as she couldn't bear the thought of it all. Sophia's stepdad pinned her to the bed, she clinged to her flute so hard as a drowning man would clutch at a straw, her only solace, the only thing she could hold onto was an old flute her mama gave her before death sweeped her off her feet. As events unfolded, nothing made sense no more, she wished for it to be over, her thighs were burning, she had been through so much agony. Her screams eventually turned into muffled sounds and her stepdad fled the scene quickly.
Fast forward...
Laid to rest beside her mama's grave
Stepdad in jail. The only evidence of his atrocities were the traces of his sperm on "Sophia's flute". A clear cut proof of a fellatio!
"Hello, what's your name? "
"Sophia, sir" I replied.
"So, Sophia what song are you performing for us today?"
"It's not really a song sir, I'm blowing out good melodies from my flute"
"Really, so why did you choose to play an instrument, instead of singing. Of all the instruments, why did you choose a flute?", one of the judges asked.
Sophia was quite for a moment.
"My mum gave me the flute and she taught me how to play, she passed on and left me alone in this big world. When I play the flute, I feel her presence, and it happens very often".
"wow! What a touching story. So what melody are you playing for us" another of the judge asked.
"Jealous, by labyrinth, I'm jealous that's she's happy without me"
"OK , let's hear it" the first judge said.
Sophia held her flute high, with the mouth piece in her lips, she began blowing. The melodies sent chills to the crowd, everyone was quite, as she opened her eyes on intervals, she noticed two of the judges shedding tears. She felt the emotion rise up in the auditorium. This is the magic of her flute.
In an old setting, a young man is on his way on a town with his big dreams. An old lady approach him and was selling a golden flute. With few penny in his pockets. He refused the offer because he cant afford the cost of the flute. But he gave some of his money out of charity.
A few days passed, he was tired, hungry and with no money. He got no choice but to spend a night on the corner of an alley. With high hopes in this new town, he ended up like this. He fell asleep in frustration.
Before dawn, he woke up with a ray of light flashing his face. The golden flute is already on his side. He was so confused. But it remided him his childhood. His father used to teach him songs using the flute.
He grab the flute and started to play. He closed his eyes, hearing those melodies being played. Sweet and calming, taking his worries away. As he opened his he was flashed with lights and a beautiful lady appeared in front of him.
"I'm goddess sofia and your wish is my command"
They all started to feel sad and sick, it was a horrible pandemic that nobody knew how to cure, everything was sadness and pain, where there was no hope or love ... Sophia is a girl so pretty, she had a lot of love for her town, she only remembered how people in the morning said: Let's see Sophia play something with your flute for me! She very happy always sang a sweet song that everyone was happy.
It was there where she thought ... If the music makes their happy, I can do something for my town! ¡Yes, I can do it! For love to my town!
Then she has intoned a nice song that said:
"With my flute, with my flute to play ... beautiful pieces, beautiful pieces that you would like"
... and every day she did it.. play her beatifull melody.
Until one day he woke up and saw everyone healthy and his people smiled and her town filled with color.
Mawi, the demi-god of the West was fond of its inhabitants and gave them all they needed. But in a bid to give them more, he ventured into the den of Nitiri, the goddess of order, to steal her Mantle of Order. Though he succeeded, he ended up unleashing Nitiri's godlike anger on its inhabitants.
The elders summoned Mawi into the courtroom of the king to ascertain how they could return the Mantle. There was one problem though, the mantle cannot be returned without a sacrifice. Since Nitiri has not been offended before, no one knew what her request could be.
With all hope seemingly lost, a girl named Sophie believes she can tame the unpredictability of Nitiri. She approached the courtroom and spoke of the melodies she can arrange with her flute that can calm Nitiri. In spite of their unbelief, they sent Sophie alongside him.
On arriving the den, she began to spin melodious tunes that touched Nitiri, while she calmed down, Mawi installed the Mantle in its place placating Nitiri. In turn, she was able to restore order to the West. From then on Sophie became the priestess of Nitiri and her flute, her symbol.
These were the melodies of pain that flowed out of the punctured holes of this instrument. For Sophia it was all she had, all she ever wanted, it was joy to her and not anyone could take the place of her little buddy.
Lying on the hospital bed with pins injected on almost every side of her body, she was dying. Cancer tortured Alyssa, Sophia’s mom, until she finally went to be with God. Now, this is Sophia dying slowly of the tumor diagnosed in her lungs on 12th June 2016. Sophia was only 16 when she had this diagnosis and has lived on life support all along.
Everyone in the hospital gathered in Sophia’s ward to sing her a happy birthday song, just when the doctors called for her to get her chemotherapy.
she whispered.
It was her 18th birthday. Sophia was just so vibrant and was loved by everyone in the hospital. She was always joyous.
she always hailed me.
Now, there lies Sophia’s flute with no hands to play. I MISS YOU SOPH! tear drops
Think before you act

SOPHIA'S FLUTE
Sophia was a beautiful girl who had many good qualities, but had started to lack respect for others. When her Aunt Ella, gave her a flute for her birthday, she was a nightmare. It didn't matter to her if everyone asked her to play the flute or not. Sophia went round the school playing her flute.
Her classmates stopped wanting to play with her. They suffered so much from her noisy flute that even Jude, the most intelligent student, invented some special earplugs which allowed you to hear normal sounds, but blocked out the annoying ones. On seeing that the others were ignoring her, and not even being annoyed any more, Sophia got into a big fight, Jude broke his right hand and was in serious pains.
Sophia started to realise just how much she had annoyed everyone with her flute. Determined to rectify the situation, and so everyone would eventually see she was becoming the best-behaved girl, she went to Jude's house and asked for forgiveness. Jude forgave her and they became friends. She apologized to her classmates and they forgave her and everything went back to normal. Sophia never played her flutes anymore unless it was necessary.

Scero was the evil king of the Ganges, a usurper. He killed his brother, Mudanda and sent Mudanda’s son on a permanent exile. Zanda, the lion grew in the wild away from the pack under the supervision of an unlikely ally Choppa the monkey. Choppa showed him the traditions of his ways thus he learnt to behave like a monkey.
One day, Sophia ventured out of the pack to look for a life of her own when she encountered the already grown Zanda. Though he did not remember her, he fell in love with her because she resembled him. Sophia was able to teach him to follow his instincts and be the king he ought to be.
Choppa bid him goodbye and gave Sophia a flute, telling her it will come in handy when the time arrives. When Zanda approached the pack, he was attacked by Scero and his warrior army, but the flute in Sophie’s hands sprang to live conjuring a melody that put the entire army in confusion. Zanda was able to defeat Scero in a grueling contest and took over the pack. Sophie’s flute became a revered instrument within the pack.
My life before the flute I could barely recall. A slum girl growing up by Boroki Creek. The system had failed us,it really did. It was left for us to find a way out of the system and speak up for the remainder of the kids left in the system.
Joan, the girl in my class whose uncle was based in Lagos sent her a flute as a birthday present;that was my first contact with a flute. I loved her flute and i somehow talked her into lending the flute to me but I had to do all her homework for her, which I happily did. I knew how to play the flute. I was sleek with it. Call it talent,I couldn't agree any better.
I did some menial jobs to get my own flute and fast forward 20 years,I'm 30 now,a Port Harcourt renowned flutist and a voice for the children still finding their way out of the slum. I'm Sophia and this is my flute story.
The warrior tribes of Djibouti were at war with one another. Each wanted to prove its superiority over the other. So they agreed that each tribe should select a seasoned warrior to battle on their behalf, to determine the superior tribe.
On the agreed date, all came with renowned, strong, agile men. But the tribe of Zizou brought a pretty woman, Sophie, as its representative. It was an astounding sight . When the battle began, Sophie, instead of fighting, began to play a flute, spinning the melody of love and gyration. Before long, the entire audience gradually began dancing to the melody and then, as if spellbound by the rhythm, the warriors started relieving themselves of their swords, knives. When Sophie suddenly stopped playing her flute, to the shame of all, they found themselves in each other’s embrace. They soon realized that behind the seeming hate they truly loved each other. All they really needed was one who could show them love’s way.
"What manner of woman is this?" The people wondered. The mystery behind Sophie's personality and flute remain classified. Till this day the tribes set aside a day each year to celebrate the Sophie's Flute.
One day the little girl Sofia, with mom and daddy the woodcutter; He lived in a cabin full of flowers, one day he saw that the flowers in his garden were sad; her friend the giant, she was always with her and her flowers helped take care.
Sofia, seeing them so badly, went to explore the forest in search of fertile land. While digging with small shovel, old wooden box with a magic flute inside found.
He went to where his friend waiting for him to play was, and content the flute showed him. It played sweet melody, so beautiful that the flowers began to have life, and its garden of beautiful colors dazzled.
Amazed by that magic flute, the giant and Sofia happy every day, same melody went to touch for the flowers to wake up and water.
One day mommy and daddy Sofia went to look. Finding her crying because her knee had hurt, dad took the flute from his backpack and started a sweet melody to play; The girl began to tear her eyes dry, a beautiful smile on her face draw and her wound heal. When Daddy finished, she kissed him, and the three happy ones were there all day.

Napster wanted the throne of his father, Odin. So he challenged his father to a duel of songs because he could sing. His father Odin did not deem it proper to enter into a battle with his son, so he called on one of his faithful subjects to stand in for him. He chose Sophie, the goddess of tears, to stand in for him, then the rule of the contest was set.
Napster began first as he was the challenger, he sang songs of beautiful melody with a host of many musical instruments. This got most people on their feet as they swayed to the melody of the songs. When he concluded some were already hailing him as their next king. Sophie now took center stage, she was good on the flute, so she began to play. The songs she played touched people to the soul that they began to acknowledge the supremacy of their king. In the end the judges felt that Sophie should be the winner because her songs has caused them to think rather than shake their bodies.
With Napster overcome, Odin began a new epoch declaring it the year of the Sophie’s flute.
SOPHIA'S FLUTE
My face was swollen in anger.
Sophia, my younger sister kept crying and all I could remember was how tragedy befell our home after we lost our parents. And how stressed I've been trying to make ends meet.
"Please allow me to sleep!"
"Sister, I need the money badly"
Sophia was never demanding but this one got me so vexed.
I slapped her on the face and off she was.
Since then, She never showed any epitome of anger towards me and I became inquisitive about what she needed that money for.
I met her friend Sandra and asked what she needed the money for.
"During weekends Sophia plays at an eatery where she gets little tokens and last week she lost her flute"
On getting home, I gave her the flute I had purchased.
"Sophia I've never seen you with a flute before?"
As she replied, I saw the strength in her, how industrious she was and I knew her flute was going to take her great places!
18 was a dreaded number in the land of Aztec because it is the number of the fiery Ilityre. It has been foretold that this vengeful god will bring calamity on the plains of Aztec when the blood moon rises on the 18th.
Another prophecy was decreed that if an unusual event can take place before the foretold appearance of the blood moon, Ilityre could be vanquished into the abyss.
Saber was with child when this prophecy was uttered and she hoped her child would be the unusual event that would avert this impending calamity. Eventually, Saber gave birth to a girl with a flute in hand. When the priestess saw this, she names her Sophie and she became marked as the deliverer of her people.
20 years later, on the day of the blood moon, it fell on the 18th, Ilityre strove to wipe away the land with her fiery breath but Sophie blew her flute with a full blast creating a pitch that unruffled Ilityre and she was drawn to the abyss, saving Aztec. Although Sophie lost her life in the process, the flute became her legacy for all to remember.
SOPHIA'S FLUTE
Sophia couldn’t contain her excitement when her mother finally got home, it wasn’t like she hasn’t seen her mother in a while or anything like that, in fact she just stepped out to purchase the source of Sophia’s excitement.
The slender bright pink musical instrument was the source of her excitement, to her it was the most beautiful flute her had ever laid her eyes on. Sophia couldn’t wait for the next music practice in school where they would learn to play the flute and also get the chance to showoff her flute and make the other girls green or in this case pink with envy.
Monday morning, it was time for the unveiling, she pulls out her flute from her bag and she was waiting for the “I like you flute” “OMG! where did you it?”.
But to her dismay, all she got was “hey Sophia, we have the same type of flute”. To Sophia’s surprise almost all the girls in her class had the same bright pink flute.
Turns out Sophia’s flute was just another pink flute.
Sophia's flute
Sophia had nothing, only this little house that she stayed with her mom...
Her mom was accused of having extramarital affairs and this let to her parent's separation...
It was really hard for her.
As if it was not bad enough, she lost her friends, she was laughed at, she was mocked.
On several occasions, when she goes to the market she got things thrown at her...
She found it really difficult to walk around or even talk to anyone...
She spends most of her day crying. It was not so healthy but that was all she could do.
One day her mom called her and gave her a present, she opened it and it was a flute. At the moment she was happy, for the first time in a long while she had a smile on her face. She was very grateful and she told her mom she was going to take good care of the flute.
"SOPHIA'S FLUTE"
In a small village in the coastal town in south america, lived the family of a peasant farmer, who grew as an orphan. He'd toiled and eventually became wealthy. One day he grew ill to recover no more, all herbs from the amazonian forest wouldn't heal him past a few hours, so everyone gave up on him except his daughter sophia and his friend diego. Weeks before he died, his wealth suddenly vanished. Rumours had it, he'd sourced his wealth from the evil aztec spirits.
After his demise, diego became sophia's guardian. He would constantly maltreat and sexually abuse her. Worst of all, he refused her movement except on nights when the moon shone fully, for their home was near the woods and the neighbourhood was wrung with weird tales of creatures. Sophia would sit under a tree in the woods to play her flute till a day when her bloodstained clothes and flute were found.
That was when diego's problems started!
Members of his family died one after the other, bleeding through their ears. No one knew the cause, save an eyewitness who saw diego in his last moments. He was heard screaming "por favor sophia! Not the flute!"
