Jesus, take the wheel…♫
These were the melodies of pain that flowed out of the punctured holes of this instrument. For Sophia it was all she had, all she ever wanted, it was joy to her and not anyone could take the place of her little buddy.
Lying on the hospital bed with pins injected on almost every side of her body, she was dying. Cancer tortured Alyssa, Sophia’s mom, until she finally went to be with God. Now, this is Sophia dying slowly of the tumor diagnosed in her lungs on 12th June 2016. Sophia was only 16 when she had this diagnosis and has lived on life support all along.
Everyone in the hospital gathered in Sophia’s ward to sing her a happy birthday song, just when the doctors called for her to get her chemotherapy.
The most dreaded beast
she whispered.
It was her 18th birthday. Sophia was just so vibrant and was loved by everyone in the hospital. She was always joyous.
Good morning, nurse Nancy. You look just amazing as everyone,
she always hailed me.
Now, there lies Sophia’s flute with no hands to play. I MISS YOU SOPH! tear drops
