RE: Leg Godt (Lego)

Yeah, I applied that remedy of movement for my back muscle aches, but only just realised that 'movement' has the same effect on my knees. My right knee feels rusty (tempts me to spray WD-40 on it 🤣), but I noticed that after a long day of walking (in comfy shoes, of course), the pain subsides, and my knee feels stronger, and flexibility is increased.
Yes, mindfulness is as powerful, as breathing. Combining the two methodologically can work wonders.
I hope your knee problem is nothing that will require surgery. Mine is patellar tendonitis (jumper's knee) so I think with the care I'll be fine. However, you must find a highly trained Yoga Teacher if you take classes. I attended classes with a 'rookie' teacher, who made me do something that caused new damage, which I'm yet to figure out exactly.

Thanks for dropping by, have a SUPER week:)))

My knee issues aren't serious so I wont need surgery anytime soon as far as I know. Actually, I just looked up what patellar tendonitis is and it sounds very much like what I am experiencing. I don't know for sure but it seems to come and go. I generally get a quick pain right in that particular tendon when I take off running, especially after sitting a long time without stretching, or if I try to jump. I try to stretch more and strengthen the muscles around the knee and avoid sudden movements. Those seem to help a lot.

Yes, my pain comes and goes too. Same, sudden movement, climbing downstairs, and after sitting or sleeping is when I feel it most.
I save all my aerobic exercises for the pool. Aqua aerobics does wonders for my knees and cardio. I particularly like doing exercises in water because it's low impact. I could jog and jump around in a pool for one hour and feel no pain during, or after. However, if I suddenly jump or run on a hard surface, I'll be out of action for a few weeks, from crippling pain.
Have you ever tried pool exercises (not just swimming, but full aerobics)?
It was my girlfriend from The Netherlands who had recommended that I try pool exercises when she came to visit me in the Philippines, and I've never looked back. Toning happens fast, and I particularly like that you gain long muscles instead of short muscles (compared to cycling or weightlifting)😁

I haven't tried water aerobics but I can imagine that it would be a great way to exercise. My knees have never been in "crippling pain" yet so I'm thinking my issue is minor at this point. Still, I'll keep water exercises in mind for sure.
