My Covid-19 journey, opinions and experiences

Disclaimer. I am a medically trained, Certified Nursing Assistant
What follows are my personal experiences, medical observations and opinions.
Always be sure to consult your doctors, but I will outline some things to think about below when you do.

image.png

We have a full generation of people (if not more) that tend to trust both their Doctors and the media to tell them the truth.
They never lived through measles or (god forbid) Polio, they don't remember times when you did not run to the Dr because you stubbed your toe.
Surely not because you have some sniffles.
You stayed home, drank plenty of fluids and took lots of Vit C, and IF you didn't start getting better, THEN you went to the Dr
.

So "The Placebo Effect" is basically when YOU BELIEVE YOU ARE SICK, OR YOU BELIEVE YOU'VE BEEN GIVEN MEDICINE TO HELP YOU NOT BE SICK.
When neither may be true.

I began to hear of people with the "new corona virus" Dec 2019 (in China) and yes there were people dying.

(at this point I must point out, at that time I was what would later be called a "covid denier"

People die of colds and flu.
Corona viruses (there is a whole family of them) cause many of the things we refer to as 'the common cold'.
But the Media SCREAMED

"It is coming for you, don't get sick and if you do RUN to your Dr."

People did exactly that, and suddenly the ER's and ICU's were overwhelmed.

**The medical professionals are young as well, they didn't know how to react to this influx of people PRESENTING with symptoms (can you say psychosomatic? If you believe you have a fever, you very well may have an elevated temp and BP), they had no means of testing, so they just admitted thousands of people.

Ventilators (A mechanical ventilator is a machine that helps a patient breathe (ventilate) when he or she cannot breathe on his or her own for any reason. There are many benefits, but a major risk is infection.
were used when they were not needed and detrimental.

So people died. I'm sorry about that. People die everyday of respiratory conditions. Many of them elderly, or like me with COPD or Asthma or heart issues.
I personally suffer from COPD(Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease) and I also have a "Thoracic Aortic Aneurysm" so I definitely fall into the HIGH RISk category)

Fake Fauci jumped on the bandwagon as he has done so many times before, and with the media behind him, there was no stopping him.
Working therapies (Hydroxychloroquine) were pooh poohed and dismissed, because no one was going to make any money on those therapies.

And therein lies the Crux of the matter.

  1. They want to make money
  2. They want to reduce the number of old people being cared for by 'the system'
  3. They want to control our behaviors. You can't make as many babies if you are 'social distancing'. Less unwanted pregnancies (that at least is a good thing)

These are my thoughts and opinions, if you have lost someone to this madness, I am very sorry and I mean no disrespect, nor do I mean to demean the medical profession as a whole,

Personal story
In August 2020, I'd missed an appointment at the VA. I was HUNGOVER, but I just told them I was too sick to drive to the appointment.
They INSISTED that I DRIVE the 12 miles to the Drive Thru test at the VA hospital.
I did that. The test came back POSITIVE.

  1. at this point I had not been sick with any respiratory symptoms

  2. I had not had any fever

  3. No body aches, nausea, loss of taste etc so

in my mind I HAD NOT BEEN SICK and after getting the nose swab 4 WEEKS IN A ROW and showing positive, I INSISTED on getting the antibody blood test.
It too, came back positive (the antibodies in my bloodstream confirmed that I had INDEED contracted the virus, but MY BODY PROTECTED ME, so I didn't get sick, the Dr who read that antibody test for me, stated that he looked at my last nose swab and said "the viral load was so low it almost didn't qualify as a positive")

By now, it is the beginning of Oct 2020. Because I have an extreme distrust of
A. the government and
B. Modern Medical Practice (which after all is now someone with a degree on the wall, reading from a computer screen, and worse, at the Veterans Administration, that computer screen also DICTATES what they can tell you, diagnose and prescribe)
Over the years the VA has MISDIAGNOSED me several times, the first caused me to be subjected to a LOT of invasive and embarrassing tests, the second they totally missed the fact that I had NO CARTILEGE in my right hip, I was walking around bone-on-bone for nearly 2 yrs after I first called it to their attention

Civilian Ortho R Hip 1 joke.jpg
In May 2019 I got my right hip totally replaced finally. Today, I am better and my mobility is far better than it was before, but I still have a LOT of pain.

New Hip 1_cleaned.jpg
So I think you can see why I don't trust the system now.

Back to covid.
For the next 6 months (Sept 2020-Mar 2021) I had myself tested regularly, both nose and blood.
Negative NOSE every time
Positive antibodies in my blood every time.
in other words, In My Opinion, I Did Not Need any vaccination, my body was doing a marvelous job, thank you very much.
But by now, the Doctors (read FAUCI) and media were all screaming
"The ICU's and ER's are all overflowing BECAUSE OF THE UNVACCINATED
So I went and got both shots of the Pfizer vaccine, and BOTH of them made me deathly ill, bedridden for three days each time.
Let's examine this; I did NOT GET SICK from the virus, but I DID GET SICK from the Vaccine. Does that make sense?
Go figure.
So today, I have NOT been 'boosted'( and will not get boosted)
I do NOT wear a mask unless it is required for me to enter a building etc.

I believe our immune systems are just like the antivirus software in your computers (or should I say those software are modelled on our immune systems)
They need to be UPDATED constantly to keep up with the changing environment.
So how are our immune systems going to be updated if we constantly remove ourselves from contact with that environment?
When we constantly disinfect everything, we avoid touch things (and worse EACH OTHER!!!)
I wash my hands when my hands are dirty.
I cover my mouth with my elbow (if I have time and think about it, otherwise it is my hand) when I cough or sneeze.
But I DON'T WORRY ABOUT IT, I am going to live my life.
DAMNED The Government for succeeding at getting 90% of the populace under their COMPLETE CONTROL.

Something else to think about.
MANY if not most of the TV commercials you see are for MEDICATIONS or DEVICES to TREAT for conditions that your parents had never heard of, that did not exist 40 yrs ago.
People were by and large healthy and happy.

Now we have Monkey Pox. Look at the images of the VACCINE bottles they are using. They say:
SMALLPOX/MONKEYPOX vaccines.

When I was small, I got the smallpox vaccine, everyone did. Then they declared "It Is Eradicated!" no need to continue vaccinating for it.
I submit had they continued, these people today would not be contracting and spreading Monkeypox. In my 67 yrs, I have had
Polio,
Mumps (as an adult)
Measles
And I recovered from and survived them all.

Okay. That is the end of my screaming from the street corner:

image.png
Caveat; I feel sure all the Doctors and medical professionals are caring, highly educated people who think they are doing the right things.
But I also think they have a script to follow or lose their jobs

Somehow I could relate well with your post because we have had this conversation 😅 before or something similar.
First when it comes to your location and the factors influencing world health, your expression of distrust in the system is very candid and even as a healthy worker yourself, your opinions are still yours.

How they were formed tho are based on your perception and experiences.

For us in Nigeria, it wasn't always so, I may share with you here that there were cities in Nigeria where almost no Covid precautions were taken seriously. ( I l share it in my post later on) and I found myself being the strange person out. People still went to markets, and more so only a handful used the facemask.

The lockdown turned out to have increase procreation too, as nine months later, the turn out of babies in the part of the world could tell 🥰🤣🤣. Thanks to this, we also had a high rate of domestic violence.

However, having such experiences and being sick was not fun at all. If one had the choice to never have such an experience again.

Was there an experiment being carried out?
Was there a motive?
Was someone's pocket being enrich?

That was not for people like us to know. People fled for safety. Drs gave their best and sadly many of them also lost their lives. People lost loved one..

I feel All of this shows us a lesson, we didn't see it coming..but are we better prepared for such again?

I remember you saying it was ridiculous every time you tested positive, it lasted for ages!

Tend to agree with you wholeheartedly on this one, we were vaccinated before going to school, as were my children. In fact they can tell exactly which country by the mark left behind.

This hoo-ha was all a hoax in my outlook, all the media hyped up, nightly numbers over the screen, yes some died how many were not from anything else but Covid?

For those who were affected/infected I am truly sorry for since panic tactics used no one will ever trust mass maniac media pumps, when they cry wolf.

Next time it may be really serious, no one will pay attention or listen!

Truth is out there somewhere, many got onto a quick rich ride, sorry at our age we will never get to know the truth, perhaps one day it will leak out, like it always does.

!WINEX - Enjoy life to it's full.
!PIZZA - Every slice of life should be fun, not the shit being dished up of late.

Yes, I've had SOME friends and relatives who died, from COMPLICATIONS because of pre-existing conditions, but no one I KNOW has died from the disease, if it really is one.
I used to have this meme/cartoon, two doctors on the putting green at the golf course.
One says to the other "I know! Let's invent a disease with no symptoms! They will never know if they are sick or not, and we'll make a fortune!"
I think that cartoon predicted the future, our present.
Thanks for commenting @joanstewart

Many elderly passed in last two years 2 out of 16 with Covid, I am talking of people in late 70 or 80's.

After being locked up many gave up will to live not being able to socialize, the way this whole matter was handled is the most despicable thing ever!

Domino effect is only starting, violence, poverty!

Greetings @jerrytsuseer thanks for sharing your journey full of experiences and considerations. Delighted to learn about them through reading your post.
I, like you, am part of the healthcare team. It is admirable your life, your feelings and conviction as you express it.
As you say, it is your vision, your side of the prism. No one owns the absolute truth, because there is a multiplicity of scenarios, linked to our beliefs and worldview.
You present to the discussion considerable edges of what represents the complexity of the health system in your country, the pharmaceutical economic power, your longing for family doctors and perhaps a bit of rejection of new technologies.
You know that in part I understand you, with my 25 years of professional practice. However, I must admit that the previous decades had some good things and some not so good things; at times it was surrounded by considerable limitations in technological advances and life expectancy was lower than today.
I confess that when we already have years of experience, as you are the example, we become a little reluctant; sometimes it has happened to me but I recognize the great benefits of current technology.
We, with our experience, must reach a consensus and share with the generations that will replace us; in this way we will allow knowledge and experience not to be lost, enduring from generation to generation.
I tell you an anecdote from my university education: Dr. Rodriguez was a renowned and admired surgeon, brilliant, but there came a time when his hands would not allow him to operate again. You may ask yourself: What is a surgeon without his hands? But that limitation did not stop him, I went in as an intern to several interventions; all of them were a teaching. He used a special bench to visualize, control and direct the intervention, the "brain" and his graduate students "his hands". Teamwork.
As for other aspects, you are quite right and I share with you that the pharmaceutical company is a voracious, multi-tentacled monster.
As for vaccines, I believe that a person with his or her mental faculties preserved should have the right to decide whether to be vaccinated or not. However, you were vaccinated as a child, as was I, and our mothers did not consult us at the time.
It was a pleasure.
Happy week to you, take care.

Thank you for sharing your story, experiences and findings with us. Knowledge is power. By spreading the word we can help manage -- or even kill -- the fear.

I have problems being told to have any vaccine if it failed to undergo the three phases of clinical trials (normal time span takes 5 -12 years total) and ALL side effects are not made publically available. Don't even get me started on how I feel about Covid vaccinations being forced on children...

Hope you have an enjoyable weekend, Jerry! @jerrytsuseer

Good Morning @ninahaskin , good to "see" you again.
I just posted this in reply to another comment on this thread:

As a child, (I was born in 1955) I was given the ORIGINAL SALK POLIO vaccine; an inactivated culture of the virus was injected?
Thing was, they didn't *QUITE* deactivate my sample, and I contracted Polio at age 3 (or less) I was paralyzed on my right side for 2 wks before MY BODY finished the job.
It was said then that I would NEVER NEED another vaccination or booster as I now had natural immunity.
When I went into the military, I had no way of proving this, so I got Polio vaccines.

Why is that procedure not good enough (I was told the virus was killed with xrays or radiation before being injected) today? I like the idea of that much better.

If you close down all other areas of the healthcare system, you are going to overrun the ER. If you test EVERYONE who comes into the ER with SARS2 PCR runs in the 40's, during cold and flu season, you will absolutely make it APPEAR as though there is a C-19 pandemic. Misdiagnosis results in malpractice and mistreatment and more deaths.

If you run more tests and higher runs on unvaccinated, you make it APPEAR that there is a pandemic of the unvaccinated. Put them in the vicinity of real cases ... they soon get it for real ...then you throw them on a respirator and pump them full of Remdesivir, you will often kill them too.

I don't know how many people I tried to explain this too ... I tried ... I can console myself with that.

I see we can chat some about this whole present situation, brother! Thanks for sharing!

Thank you @acgalarza

You're welcome, brother!

How very coincidental; I wrote this on "you-know-where" one year ago today:

Well I done did it. I got the Pfizer shot #1.
I posted this in DM to a friend who congratulated me on it:
Congratulations for what? Finally capitulating to the massive Gov't take over of our freedoms?
Congratulations for getting a foreign substance injected into me that I didn't need, just so I can carry a piece of paper in my wallet?
I would have had to go to the VA to get the J&J, then my card would indicate that I am FULLY VACCINATED, but NOOOOooo.
My niece is here visiting from Belgium, she and my friend the ONCOLOGIST from Greece both told me that in Europe, if you have the natural post infection antibodies, you ONLY have to get one of any of the shots, but NOOOooo, here in the US, for my card to say fully, I must have it all, before I can get on a plane, go to a restaurant, movie etc...
I hate myself now

Interesting, what a coincidence really.

Woo WEE @eatthebugs you just said a mouthful. (Looking at your username, I thought it was "Earthbugs" ha ha )
I don't usually give a full upvote value on a comment, but I did yours.
It seems weird for me to be referred to as "an Elder" by someone who isn't that much younger ha ha ha

But I will take that as a real compliment
