The oryxes, camels,and gazelles were so fascinating to watch from the sky. I saw them once up close when I traveled to this area by land.

I actually had a balloon ride booked at one point years ago, but it was canceled the day of because of weather and I was never able to rebook it.

I didn't factor in the weather but sorry to hear that, that's unfair and that's a lot of money 😱

I didn't think about it before but yes, the upside to doing it in Dubai, the weather is predictable, since it only rains 3 times a year. Early mornings are ideal because of the wind conditions although it's not recommended during summer. It gets very hot and humid.
