Feeling awkward is normal 😅

You may look at the content that I post or know me in person and wonder how I could ever have social anxiety. Trust me when I say, I definitely did have it bad for most of my life. Even now I still battle with it, but it's far less of a struggle these days.

In this video, I will discuss 3 distinct situations from my past where I was too anxious to do the things that I wanted so badly to do. I missed out on some opportunities previously, but I learned my lesson and now I am more willing to try new things.

After talking about my shortcomings when I was overpowered by anxiety, I will explain how those same instances now are things that I look forward to doing. It probably seems like a pretty big leap to stop being afraid of certain things, but it is totally possible.

I don't have a hypnotic spell to put you under, but I do think I have some pretty solid advice and life experience to share. I hope that you enjoy my latest video.

I mentioned in the video an older blog I did about how much better my life is without alcohol. If you are curious to read that one, here is the link:

I want to thank everyone who has been watching yet again. I will never stop being thankful for that. If you have issues with social anxiety or maybe you too overcame it, leave a comment and let me know. I would love to assist in any way that I can or perhaps just hear about a story from your past.

I'll catch you all in my next video tomorrow. See you then!

I read your old post. Man, you've changed so much. I mean in a good way. You look so confident right now! Trying new things can change your life. It's risky sometimes, but if you don't take any risk you can't do anyting new. It sucks. You always think about what you missed. A few years ago I had anxiety. I couldn't stop worrying about my future. Now, I am trying to do best and try to don't think about it. Another awesome post again. Thank you for your advices and sharing your life experiences.

That's wicked cool that you went back and checked that one out. I think it's one of my best written posts ever, a lot of hard truths in it. Confidence is at an ATH currently, so I'm happy about that. Risk is inevitable if you want to experience like, you make a good point there. & I was the same way at points, afraid to make drastic decisions in fear of not having what I need in the future. Always happy to have you reading and/or watching my content bro!

I'm the same way. I feel very confident now. There's nothing we can't do with work. I enjoy reading your posts. It's a pleasure for me.

Great to hear you are elevated higher than you once were.

Good talk! :)

I'm glad u got over some stuff and are now a much more happy guy!

I remember my fitness journey.. like u, my college had a great facility with everything, but I had basically no experience or knowledge of working out. also, I was never athletic and nobody in my family was either.

This was probably the first workout/get fit type program plus supplements thing that was popular at that time and I spent much of my cash at that time getting it..

nowadays, u can get most all this for free. (minus the supps) I didn't actually do this since I didn't even understand the directions (i didn't even understand what dumbbell chest press was, or what's a bicep curl..) now, just google it.. :P

anyway, I can relate to much of ur story.

It’s crazy how much more simple things are now. You can find so much information online that used to be difficult to receive without forking over cash. My favorite channel for fitness on YouTube is Athlean-X with Jeff Cavaliere.

nice. i seen a few of the athlean-x vids, i will check out Jeff Cavaliere.. 🤙

😁 oops, same guy..

have u ever seen this guy?

he even has the beard!!

Anxiety is a bad adviser for our daily life, when we want to solve situations and we cannot say that it is a kind of stressful factor that harms me in particular and to try to cope with it I sit alone in a small garden I talked to the plants and that relaxes me an amazing way. It's good that he was able to first face and then overcome that adversity friend @daltono it's always great to read and listen to stories of self-improvement to serve as an example to other people that if we try and want to, we will surely achieve it.

We all must find our own ways of relaxing. It sounds like a tranquil garden is a great option for you. I would enjoy that too I'm sure. Some gardens may stress some people out, for instance if they have a fear of insects. Kind of wild isn't it? Everyone has their own thing that makes them tick.
Thanks for watching 👏

that is true we are all different and we must find that space that makes us happy. wonderful friday my friend

I overthink everything, even around my family I feel like I'm being judged.

Even if they were judging you, their judgment cannot control your life.
