The Hive Engagement League
This league is not based around financial rewards and relates to engagement.
Everyone currently on my master list has a chance here, including those powering down or dealing in delegations over the past couple of weeks. Only the top 100 scores are shown.
The score is made up from a simple formula which uses the following types of engagement:
- Posts (P)
- Comments (C)
- Number of people spoken to (PS)
- Comments outside of own posts (CO)
- Unique Author posts (UA)
- Comments - replies to replies - depth > 2 (CR)
- Comments - length in characters (CL)
- Up-votes to others (V)
- Up-votes to different authors (UV)
- Self-votes - No minus score but no bonus HIVE (SV)
Note: Copy/Paste comments will be excluded!

This is called shouldering.
It's a really valued technique that ensures that when a line is moving as one - they are truly in a mindset where they share the same goal, same vision, same execution.
At the end of the exercise- they go back and look at the lines of snow left behind to see where there was a disruption in the groupthink.
Then, they do it again, and again, until they can have one clear plow - with no snow left behind.
Each person is not only responsible for making sure that their "plow" is clean - but that they aren't adding to the next person's "plow" by slacking off.
At the same time, they are also responsible for catching any excess that is inadvertently left behind by the people to the right and left.
It is extremely difficult to do - because as you can see, when one turns to the left or right - to help those beside them - they cannot help but create more of a burden to the person they turn away from.
It requires trust, and dependability, and responsibility, and I'm completely making all of this up because I have too much time on my hands but thanks for listening.

I was surprised once again that I made the cut, down at 67, but still on the list. I spent almost one whole day in discord watching the Punks on hive chat and trying to buy the two I had allotted funds for. My first foray into the world of NFT's. If they sell as listed then a boon, but at least 1/4 the cost, (if the reward holds), will have been recovered in 6 days. (my one post so far this week).
Seems that Hivefest VR went okay and people are blogging about it. Also nice to see a slight increase in Hive price.
