California doesn't have the lead on 'bullshit price' but they have done a shameful thing in the history of earth. Some dickhead decided that a Reuben Sandwich should have Thousand Island dressing and now they all do in the whole fucking state. That might be unforgivable. That's better than 1000 miles of 1000 Island.

No. It's not funny at all! I have used a Reuben as the measure of a new restaurant for at least 30 years and it looks to me like everybody in Cali now makes them with 1000 Island. I'm serious as a heart attack. I don't understand it at all, but I'll guarantee I ask at every restaurant now. And not just in Cali because their influence is so wide spread.
