No. It's not funny at all! I have used a Reuben as the measure of a new restaurant for at least 30 years and it looks to me like everybody in Cali now makes them with 1000 Island. I'm serious as a heart attack. I don't understand it at all, but I'll guarantee I ask at every restaurant now. And not just in Cali because their influence is so wide spread.
