A crow told me about this guy. Crows always tell me everything because I'm too stupid to survive in the wild. It's not my fault, the crows say. I was bred that way. Never had a say in the matter.
An attempt by tame humans was made to breed farmed fur foxes into a more domesticated, safer animal to manage. As humans selected and bred for docile traits, though, the foxes' coats became softer and less desirable. The faces of this line of domesticated foxes also became puppyish. The domesticated foxes got... cuter.
I can't begin to imagine what a domesticated breed of raccoon would look like.
They don't make 'em cuter'n this.

I love Rocky, yes, Unfortunately here in Sweden you are not allowed to have wild animals, not even birds. You can have imported caged birds, so sick.
Wild animals want to be wild, anyway, so that's just as well.

Now, to be fair, I know that wrestlingdesires just tagged you in my post about making friends with crows, but I swear I didn't seek you out after seeing that - I just searched "crow" and started reading everything I could find, and I found this post...also, I thought the name corvidae seemed familiar, but man, wow! You're way further down the old crow path than I am, I'm sure there is much I can learn from you on my journey towards befriending a murder...I'm following now so I don't miss any advanced tips.
LOL! Yeah, if hive was to NOT show you any of my posts after searching crow, my feelings would be very hurt. Feel free to ask questions any time, if I have an answer I will share! Crow friendships changed my life for the better/best. They reconnect us with the nature we've nearly left behind.

Thank you! I've been doing this alone so far, just using youtube and other online reels to gather info and make a plan, but I think this is a journey that would be much more fun with a small family of likeminded humans with whom I can collaborate and share success stories. I now count you as the first human component of my crow family, I hope that's not too forward 😅
Yes, that's actually why I want this so badly. I've seen that they can bring shiny things and money to people who become their friends, but honest to goodness all I cared about from the start was just having them as friends :)

They do, very occasionally, bring me gifts, though usually it's just the youngsters playing with something and leaving it behind. Most of what they bring me are their demands. In a good way, of course.

I've tried uploading on threespeak but most of the time the videos get stuck and never finish uploading, so I gave up and went back to youtube links. Thanks for the follow! No worries about not watching often, I think life is better with less screens and more reality, anyway.
