That was cool. I've had bad luck with that. The first dude I hooked up took his earnings and delegated them away for profit as soon as he got them. The other two went silent the moment I offered help. LOL! And that's precisely why I didn't do it for so many years.
This dude seems okay. Full of piss and vinegar, ready to go.
I believe that whatever kindness and generosity we offer others does come back to us in some form. That said, like you, I've had experiences where I've invested into others who I believed in, and it didn't pan out like I'd hoped. I like to think that at the very least I planted the seed in them that there does exist kind souls on our planet, and I like to think they were a 'better investment' for the next person who gave them a chance, because of what I did. Of course, this could just be naivety on my part.
I guess what I'm saying is, I applaud your 'hooking up' of others, and I believe your actions added to the overall value of humanity / the economy, regardless of the immediate result (or lack of) in the people you dealt with.
Also, thanks for the vote of confidence. "Piss and vinegar" eh? (grin) I'll take it! :)
It's not really that big of a deal. Just more buttons to push. It's not like I'm borrowing them the car and it's coming back missing the seats and one side. Maybe they'll show up again with the rest someday? Who knows.
Fair enough, and thanks for clarifying. Since you shared your giving experiences, it felt to me like a good time to share my philosophy on giving. :)
Delegating can turn into a real pain. Might be 50 accounts on a list or more that require constant monitoring. So it's not a big deal, but can turn into a nightmare when it comes time to managing it all. It's never a permanent thing. But I hear you. You'll like voting. Every time you give, you get something back.
Hmm, makes sense, I think I'm getting the picture. Thank you. Perhaps I'll find out by delegating to others one day? I've been focused on creating content, 6 fairly in-depth posts in as many days means I haven't focused much on voting, so I'll explore it more soon. :)
If you're voting without any HP, it's just a like button with a limited number of fully charged 'likes'. When voting with HP, you're entitled to a portion of the 50%/50% author/consumer/curator/post reward pool generated with each post published. The more stake you own, the higher the return you'll receive with each vote given, and depending on a few variables. Authors receive 50% of the post reward pool by default, also depending on a few variables.

Or if you prefer alternatives, you could also study some persuasive copy masters such as: Blair Warren, Craig Clemens, Dan Kennedy, Eugene Schwartz, or even Cole Schafer. All of them have free materials that can teach you a lot. I learned by studying them and practicing over and over, technically 'self-taught.'

We can but dream! It's no bother, I know what a pain in the chuff it can be starting out and having no RCs or at least so little that it limits your actions.
With even that small amount you don't have to worry about running out anymore. The RC system is primarily aimed at stopping spam accounts doing their thing so you don't need much to get over it.

Yes, I felt bewildered and frustrated when I realized I couldn't just 'post and contribute' like I do on other platforms, but I understand better now why it's that way. And I love that they have systems to stop spam accounts. I'm doing my best to use what I've been given and post something of value to others. (Not sure if my Eminem rehearsal today counts, but at least I added some philosophy to it.)
And it surely is a fine number. Inspiring!
