Old vine on #WednesdayWalk

in #wednesdaywalk4 years ago

Well hello there, creatures of the Internet!

Today I walked by the old church that was founded sometime in the 1300s.

There I saw a vine climbing along the wall, which is probably significantly newer than the church.

It looks like I have had a hard life living along the wall.

That is very old! And obviously well looked after. Interesting share @njord

Thank you 😊

WOW that is an old church and I love that vine

Thanks for joining Wednesday Walk :)

Thank you so much 😊

Love seeing old churches and especially love stone walls. That vine looks like it’s been there awhile.

It sure is something special about old stuff 😊

Thanks for the update 😘

Those are very nice picks, especially the first one with sun peaking from around the corner 😊

Thank you very much 😍

Always a pleasure 😊

That looks very much like a hydrangea petiolaris (probably not spelled right), which is very beautiful both in bloom and in the winter with its exfoliating bark. That vine is probably quite old itself by the looks and size of it, although not 700 years! It's one of my favorite plants.
I adore old buildings like this one. They have so much spirit and I can usually feel those who were there before me.

Ah... then i has to remember in the spring and have a look 😊

This is beautifully captured. I like it. It’s just awesome.

Awesome 😊
