As we all know, the Hive Naija Weekend Engagement is focused on promoting the togetherness of the Nigeria brethren through engagement and it's also now concerned of the well being of each and everyone who is part of the engagement. The frontend wey I use when I join Hive na Peakd. Everything about am just dey give me joy. If I dey write my post like this, I go dey see the preview for down. I use Peakd for a very long time before I even reason another frontend.
Na person tell me say make I dey use Ecency sef. At first, I no too feel am because after I write finish, I go dey close one eye before I go fit preview wetin I write but as time goes by, I con fall in love with Ecency sef, especially that favorite author thing wey go help me quick see some posts.
Inleo, I use that one sef small. Them sef help my life. I been wan do their premium o but wetin be my net worth.
I love all these frontend but na Peakd I still feel comfortable with. Na Peakd dey help me if I wan correct something. Sometimes wey I go mix up the tags, wey some suppose come first, Peakd go help me just use my hand move am to where he suppose dey.

Okay so yeah I like the Peakd site too, especially when writing you would be able to check preview for errors easily.

The number of front ends on hive can be enough to fight the Biafra war. Well, coming into hive, I didn’t know of any other front end except hiveblog even though the person that signed me up used it also but mentioned inleo in the process. I didn’t know what he was talking about and it was sounding like Greek. I got in and was stuck with hive blog for about a month until I reached out to someone who schooled me on the different front ends. Then I got hooked with inleo threading becos of the greeen notification ofcourse until they reduced the support to nothing and my focused changed. I use ecency for engagement and swaps even though it was terrible the first and last time I tried making a post with it. The network disturbed sometimes too and sends error messages. Neoxian end was the worst experience so far. I lost my post on refreshing and I had to write an entirely new post. Right now, I used the hive blog end to write my posts and then copy it and paste on inleo and post it. I use it also to check my notifications. I have heard alot about peakD but haven’t explored it yet except to use it to copy post link, vote on pools and burn neoxag.
So I basically navigate all at once to have a great experience, ecency, inleo, hive log and peakD are the four I use simultaneously I prefer hive blog to the rest for my daily check in’s.

Amongst all the frontends, Ecency is the the most wacky. Despite the regular upgrade, it always freezes whenever a notification is coming in. Sometimes I feel like uninstalling the app.

Wow! I’m surprised and this review because Ecency and peakd are my most used and Ecency my favorite. But yeah, Ecency lags sometimes but now that I understand how it works I guess that’s why I could say it’s my favorite.
Hive.blog is one of the oldest Frontends if not the first. I just respect that Frontend for that, hehe. Just keep using what works for you until you have the full understanding of the others. Sorry about those experiences by the way.

I explained my situation to someone then and he told me about peakD since then I use peakD to write and copy it to my inleo to post. Omo. Looking back, we’ve come a long way. The first front-end I used when I joined Hive is Peakd. I found it quite easy to navigate. It was easy to add tags, images and all. Actually, when I joined Hive, I didn’t know there were other frontends aside Peakd.
It was later on that I discovered the other ones. I have explored many frontends and I have to understand that each serves different purposes.

Honestly, I don’t think I have a favorite. I used Ecency almost throughout last year. I’ve been using INLEO since January. I use Hiveblog to send tokens. My head no dey stay one place.😂

Frontends choke!
The first frontend I used was the official hive.blog. I still use it when making my post especially when other frontends start acting up when it's time to upload images. I just upload my images there and copy the links.
Then came Ecency...the only and one. It has always been my favourite. Especially using it from desktop,very demure. I don't think I've ever used peakD to make posts,but I love using it most for engaging. It feels goods and quite popular too.

I used it once and that was all for post making shaa. But it’s great for engagement. I used it to save my favorites and engage with them and to check my votes and do swap. It’s great for other things for me but too making post.

Yeah. Inleo doesn’t do markdown stylings but it will display when you view it from other frontends.
My first front-end is peak D still loving it
Reasons why it helps me organize my writing and it doesn't giltch hang or shut down when writing rather it is to understand to use maybe because have been using it for along time but I remembered trying other front-end it was poor to use I have to literally take like so many hours to compose a post

Oh mine! Sam just took me back to my first days on Hive. I could remember how I fell in love so much with Ecency. That was the first frontend I loved then. Why was it so? It's because of the points we gathered through posting, commenting and upvoting. It was a battle then as many of us would be so much active wanting to get to the top leader board. And that time, there were weekly prizes for the top 20 I think and I remember how I won multiple times.
Those times reminded me of my activeness in reading and commenting. I still would love to be that person then because, right now, there are lots of engagements, particularly offline.

When I first joined hive , I used Ecency fronted for all I needed to do because it was what I understood, and then I was using Glo line , and she Glo line couldn't open Peakd. Com , even when my sister says I should try and use Peakd to help me check my writeups better , I wasn't convinced.
Then one day I used Peakd to write a post, and that how my network went and all my post went with it , I was so frustrated. Omo I didn't write again for that day
Then as time went on when ecency started their whole update thing , I was not now understanding again, so I had to go buy mtn SIM line , and that was when my Peakd journey fully started.
So like right now I use all three front-end. Peakd for writing, Ecency for posting annd engagement, then I use inleo also to post because we are hunting for Leo voter loots . .but my favourite will be Ecency because you can promote your page and ecency gives you a delegation .
Also you can get upvotes too from their promotion of your page with the Ecency points you make from engaging with the frontend .

Yeah, actually. I came into Hive through Ecency, and for the longest time, that was all I used, all I knew, and all I loved. Then, I think it was @ibbtammy that introduced me to PeakD, or so...
And I didn't think I'd come to love it, but I did. The UI makes me incredibly happy and I just view my transactions much more seamlessly. I still use Ecency for some transactions, and mostly to make my publications. But now, my first impulse is just to go to PeakD to check stuff out.

As per touching the topic of discuss for this weekend, I would say that my favourite frontend is now ECENCY!!!

This wasn't always so. In fact, the frontend I was introduced to was peakd and yes, peakd is great in it's own way. I like is easy self- explanatory interface. I was even scared of using ecency as my onboarder once mentioned that it was difficult to grasp. Me that I don't like stress before 😁.
But after a year on hive, I decided to take the bull by the horn and try out ecency and to tell you all the truth, it has been an awesome journey ever since.
Ecency notification is akin to a life saver. I don't miss my favourite post because of the notifications. Aside that, the ecency points I earn for using the frontend helps to promote and boost my posts. I recently started boosting my hp with my ecency points self.
The more juicy part is that if you are amongst the top 50 engagers on ecency, you stand a chance of winning hive.
Don't look too far, I recently won 4 hive as a lucky too number and engager. I used peakd for a full year and some months and shishi no him me. But ecency has been pampering me like a new wife.
Now ehn, the only time I remember peakd is when I want to make withdrawals. Other than that, then I return back to my luv....ecency..

I Have being on hive for over a month,I have made use of inleo, peakD and ecency. My favorite frontend will be ecency it is easier to post, nice Ui and saves pictures on clipboard, if you mistakenly leave the app or close it auto save your already written content as draft.

I don't know who remember when I cried bcos my pott kept wiping off on inleo, it wasn't funny that day. I had written a 500 words on inleo and all I need is to add thas and post them, gbam!! It wiped off and I couldn't recollect it, it really pain d.my heart bcos it getting late that day and I want to post it before 12 in the midnight , I summoned courage and decided to write another one almost done with the second one too and everything goes off again . I lost my steeze by then 😂😂and started crying 🤣, I just go to bed, cry and slept off🤣🤣. I used inleo just bcos someone said they might vote post , I wouldn't have nee to use it at all but what I do now is write my post using peakD then copy to inleo to post, sometimes when I copy to inleo it swipe off again but I'm rest assured peakD has saved it for me. peakD is the best, it's saved to draft automatically ,it's the best frontend for me though I haven't explore other frontend apart from this two .

😂 It's funny cos I've experienced it too and I think it's because InLeo doesn't autosave like PeakD so if you don't save it manually and you accidentally refresh the page, everything wipes off. I almost cried the day I experienced it too because normally I use PeakD so I was now like PeakD head has catch me 😂 but since then I made the same decision you made.
I think PeakD still has better features that is user friendly especially to newbies and I think even some old Hivers too still prefer it.

It auto saves, but it can go wrong sometimes. And sometimes those things can be gotten back when you click on restore last draft.
