I found some fun cat material online at the fabric shop, so I ordered a few yards and arranged for a pickup. I love that they will bring it out to your car and put it in the trunk, waving goodbye before I can get it in gear.
I was so torn today, cats or love? Cats or love? Can I just love cats? Cats rule. We all know it, right? Unless you prefer the loyalty of a dog. I found some more fabric to make masks with. I don't know about you, but, I get bored of the same tired mask, so, I like to make a few that make me smile, even if for a moment or three.
Everyone still has to wear masks at work or play, so might as well have fun along the way. I know there are so many people with different opinions on the masks, but, to be honest with you, as long as they require me to wear one, I will.
Oh, in case you are wondering... I made one for a dog day too. :)) Because I have so much free time, I don't know what to do with it, "said nobody, ever! Seriously, where ae all these dog people?? Don't we need a day just for the dog??"
Almost done and with a brand new #Caturday mask! How can I go wrong with that? I'm showing it off tonight, but, I will be wearing it on #Caturday!

Good idea to beautify the banal mask that sends our thoughts to the disease. The first drawing reminds me of the Yellow Submarine, the Beatles movie.
You must keep in mind that these masks, very beautiful, must be worn over a medical mask, for better protection.
They are properly sewn with the three layers and washed every time they are worn. There is interfacing in the middle and so far, we have been lucky. I realize nothing is foolproof and all we can do is protect ourselves and hope we are doing it right. What I sewed in is like a medical mask, but, washable.

In the museum you can see some houses known to you in style, many resemble in Eastern and Central Europe, especially the old ones of the last century.
I love that you post on Romania and the history, culture and even the people. The lens you use to tell the story without slanting it towards your thoughts, but, how it is - that is awesome.

Yes, I use Noise and quite successfully, I am surprised that this happens. I initially started in the group of Leo Finance but I am overwhelmed by the financial issue and I started posting photos.

It made me think of the one my Mom had in my childhood years. I am wondering if she still has it. She did a lot of sewing back in the day. When I was in high school and pant suits became all the rage, she made me several sets and I thought I was the bomb in them. ha ha.....
I went to a Catholic School all my life, so we had uniforms. But, my mother liked to sew, so she was always trying her hand at it. Oh, yeah... we thought we were all THAT! :))
When I was first in school I wore dresses all the time. Somewhere around the 5th or 6th grade it became ok to wear jeans to school. I didn't own any, so wasn't "with it" for a couple of years. Then, my folks finally bought me a pair and I only wore them a couple of times before wearing them to the skating rink (where again I was all that... for a few minutes), only to fall on one knee and tear a hole in them. LOL !! Talk about childhood tragedy !

I always wore the dreaded uniforms so feel happy you at least got to wear clothes!
I don't have them and that's ok, because I couldn't wear them on my big toe now ! LOL
So how did ya'll look down on each other if you were all dressed the same? I can see where uniforms would cause difficulties. I made me laugh typing that.
I just hope the one you made for the dog want the cat themed variety...a dog has to have some pride! :)

Colorful and beautiful, I love the fabrics.
I also get tired of the same old mask and create new ones almost every week, but I make use of left over fabrics from cloths I design and they are usually plain ones.
That is awesome! I would love to see some when you get time. It is actually just as cheap for me to buy the fabric as it is to make it. We have made some unique cute ones, but, I have ten relatives that want one, so I bought the fabric.

Oh!!! They are wonderful! And you are so talented. I need to switch up my masks quite a bit for sanity's sake as well. Although I do have to admit, my favorite is a soft off-black, kind of like old t-shirt material. Putting it on is like putting on your favorite old shirt.
I wash my mask everytime I wear it. I have over 20 masks and they are quite inexpensive to make. Do wash them, even if it seems excessive.
I sew a layer of interfacing in the middle. I can make you one if you dont have more. XO

You can see the dogs on the mask in the last picture with all three showing! First one on the left. I wouldnt do that!! It would be like giving you a pink shirt... or something like that.
