As much as it good to plan childbirth, there are circumstances that may be beyond the control.of the couple.

A couple that had been married for closed to two decades without a child looked up to a day when they would have a child of their own.
The woman suddenly conceived and gave birth to a quadruple (4 babies at the same time). The husband was crying for joy and at the se time the thought of how to cater for them, as we speak, the four children all graduated at the same time.

But on a real note… this love vs money talk isn’t small. Watching my mum’s health journey has honestly shifted how I see both. Love is beautiful, but when sickness hits, money becomes a lifeline. Hospital runs, medications, checkups.... it’s not vibes and affection that pays those bills.

I read where @samostically mentioned our grand parents. I no be good history student, but I go school and I can state clearly that back in the day, couples were determined by the parents and it also depends on the hardwork and diligence of the man in question.
Like in the easy then, you will find out that only the men who had large farmlands or bred much sheep, goats and cattles got married. They even went as far as taking many wives and the ladies didn't mind sharing one husband afterall, the money was there to take care if their needs.
Also back then, women didn't work. They were full time home makers. The males on the family did all the stressful work while the wives sweep, cook and clean and also service the other room (cough).
So no doubt, the man was seen as the provider ad that made these women love their husbands. It is a natural phenomenon for a girl to incline more to that guy that meets her needs.
Come down to the 80's and 90's with the advent of colonization. Singles were now free to choose for themselves and even at that, majority went for stability in finance more than anything.
I'm not saying that building with a guy is not good but I won't advice anyone especially a female in this day and age to do so. The economy was favourable then but not now.
The guy in question should have some financial base and then together with clear cut visions and goals, we can then build together.
Another thing again is that some men are untrustworthy. Once a woman suffers with them and they make it financially, they would then abandon the woman for a fresh chic. They will not remember the one who followed them to drink garri, mtchewww.
A case like this is being settled in my community. The man threw his wife's load outside claiming that he doesn't want to marry her after four children and over ten years of hardship. The funny part is that the house he threw her out from, the land belongs to the woman while they both jointly built on it. Now the man is saying that he is tired. As I speak, the case is with our community king. This is so sad
